Because...if you're moving, boxes can be hard to come by and if you're done with them, it's gotta be better than throwing them away.
What It Isn't
This is not a location from which commercial entities should attempt to sell you boxes.
How To Do It
FIND BOXES: Enter your zip code and press submit. You'll see the boxes available in your area. Send an email to make arrangements to pick those boxes up.
OFFER BOXES: You are our green angels...Type the quantity of boxes available, your zip code and email address, it's that easy. Come back and unlist your boxes when they're gone. There's nothing to it.
How To Talk To Strangers
Be polite, be direct and to the point. Don't be crass or lewd and don't be disappointed if the boxes are gone. Be glad.
List Your Boxes
We can't do this without you - by making your empty boxes available, you make this work. Simply click on the 'LIST' link to the 'list boxes' page, then add the number of boxes you have, your zip code and email address. It's that easy! By the way, your email address is never published on our site, when somebody contacts you about your boxes, our servers forward their contact request to you without them ever seeing your email address. C'mon, go to the LIST Boxes Page and add some boxes now.
Find Boxes
To Find all available boxes in your zip code and neighboring zip codes, guess what, go to the FIND boxes page and enter your zip code! Go to the FIND boxes Page now.
UNlist Your Boxes
You can UNlist your boxes at anytime, with the same ease iwth which you added them. A quick visit to the UNlist Boxes Page.
The Conservancy of it all
So there it is, that's all there is to it. List boxes, find boxes, tell your friends about it and get them to Give those Old Boxes another go 'round too. Then after, maybe while cranking up a crackly old Mungo Jerry hit on the iTunes, mix yourself up a pitcher of sangria and relish the conservancy of it all. This could after all, be the world's laziest way as yet known, to begin to help to save the world.
